Although a passport can take you anywhere you want to go in the world, only an IMAX passport can take you to the space station or to see dinosaurs.
The IMAX Theatre at Arizona Mills has announced its first "Passport to Adventure" program, where moviegoers will be able to experience up to five films for $35.
"The thing with IMAX is it's so fun but it's also very educational," said Charlene James, sales manager for IMAX. "This is a way for you to not only do something fun with your family and be entertained, but you're also educated on different topics."
Each passport includes five film admissions, as well as five tickets for a free small popcorn. The tickets can be used by five people to see one movie or one person to see five movies, or any combination in between.
The films include: Grand Canyon Adventure 3D, Space Station 3D, Dinosaurs Alive 3D, Under the Sea 3D, and China: The Panda Adventure.
IMAX "Passport to Adventure" will be available June 1 through Aug. 31. Tickets must be purchased at IMAX Theatre Arizona Mills box office.
