On Cox 7’s newest lifestyle and design show, everything you see can be found in your own backyard.
Even the host.
The show’s host Denise Teichert has been an Ahwatukee Foothills resident for 16 years and an interior designer for 18.
“I’ve been doing this all my life and have a little bit of media background and just kind of pulled the two together and created this program,” Teichert said.
Fine Wine & Design is a half-hour interactive TV show, which combines home makeovers, real estate tips, and wine and food pairings, as well as tours of local vineyards and restaurants.
What sets the show apart from other home makeover shows is all of the contractors on the show are local and easy to reach. From the vendors, the homeowners, the restaurants to the culinary and even the wine is Arizona based.
“When homeowners are viewing the show they won’t say, ‘Well hell, I can’t get that done in my house because I live in Seattle and this show takes place in Arizona,’” said Jeanne Olivar, who organized the launch party on Wednesday.
The show debuted July 5 and is set to air on Cox 7 Arizona three times a week: on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays at 11 a.m.; and Sundays at 11 a.m.
