Why are you running for office?

I have been a life-long advocate of freedom. I see our government creating more laws that infringe on personal freedom. For example, FISA and The Patriot Act, which permit the government to spy on Americans, or NDAA which permits indefinite detention and suspends habeas corpus. I hope my running for office will help win hearts and minds such that people once again cherish and value freedom. I will continue to strongly advocate for freedom.

What issue will be your biggest priority if/when elected?

Limiting the size and scope of government by returning government to its constitutionally defined role.

What are your qualifications for this office?

I am not a career politician … indeed I am not a politician at all. Until recently I was very content just running my law practice of 19 years. However, I do understand the law of our land, the United States Constitution. I have seen it trampled, ignored or circumvented. As an attorney, I protect citizens from these types of abuses every day and as your senator I would seek to continue this vocation.
