Students collect canned food to give their teacher a Mohawk
Posted: Friday, January 8, 2010 12:00 amTeachers at Centennial Middle School survey teacher Scott Schutkowski's hair Tuesday, in preparation of giving the social studies teacher a Mohawk haircut. When only 300 cans of food had been collected recently, Schutkowski challenged the 120 C.M.S. students that he teaches to step up their effort in the last couple of days of the food drive. Needless to say, students hit their number of 1,000 cans of food and Schutkowski lost the bet - and his hair.
