On Feb. 25, 2009, longtime Ahwatukee Foothills resident Ed Dos Santos passed away unexpectedly at the age of 51.
Born in Manhattan on March 27, 1957, Ed leaves behind his loving wife of 29 years, Christy, and sons Alex, 22, and Erik, 18. He was a University of Cincinnati Law School graduate and the founder of the Dos Santos Law firm in Phoenix.
Ed was a very dear friend who will sorely be missed. Friendship with Ed was truly a blessing from God, as he was respected and admired by all those who knew him. So many wonderful times were shared with Ed, at countless sporting events, holiday celebrations and dinners together with our families.
Always wanting those around him to have fun, Ed made sure that everyone had a great time. Meeting Ed for the first time left a lasting impression. Being a friend of his was something really special - the friendship of a lifetime! The massive turnout at last Saturday's memorial service at Mountain Park Community Church served as a fitting tribute. We love you, Ed, and will never forget you. You were truly one of the great ones.
