Sun Devil Aquatics win regional meet

The nationally renowned Sun Devil Aquatics Swim Team has once again lived up to its reputation by winning the Regional Swim Meet recently hosted by the West Side Silver Fins in Litchfield Park.

The SDA swimmers amassed a stunning 54 gold medals, 39 silver medals and 44 bronze medals over the three-day meet.

Sun Devil Aquatics’ next meet will be the Age Group State Championships March 4 to 7 at Phoenix Swim Club showcasing the best swimmers in the state. More than 500 swimmers from more than 20 teams will be competing for this year’s bragging rights.

SDA trains at Arizona State University’s Mona Plummer Swim Complex as well as two other aquatic centers offering the best coaching and training Valleywide.
