Aspire Kids Sports Center in Chandler joined forces with Arizona Sunrays to host the Classic Rock Invitational recently at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. This meet included girls gymnastics Levels 4 to 10 and a trampoline and tumbling competition. More than 1,300 gymnasts and 200 trampoline and tumbling competitors from all over the country participated in the event.

Ahwatukee Foothills residents Daniela Gonzalez, Nichole Maurice and Madison Sigler were standout gymnasts from Aspire. Gonzalez won first place in beam for the Level 4 gymnasts, Maurice was first in tumbling for Level 8 and Sigler was first in trampoline and first in tumbling for Level 7. Aspire’s Level 4 team finished in second place, and the Level 5 team finished in third place.
