The local FASTFRAME Gallery at 4232 E. Chandler Blvd. recently participated in the “My Favorite Place” Art Contest sponsored by FASTFRAME, Expert Picture Framing. The contest was for children ages 6 to 10, and first prize went to 10-year-old Ryan Grieser with his entry of “The Tree House.” Claire Smothers, 8, won second place with her “Sponge Bob” entry. Both are students at Kyrene de Los Cerritos Elementary School.

Grieser’s entry is one of nearly 50 other winning entries at www.fastframe.com as well as on Facebook. His entry was also submitted to the national Kid’s Art Contest.

Both entries were custom framed and matted compliments of FASTFRAME and were displayed in the store’s window in February. They also received a “My Favorite Place” Kid’s Art Contest T-shirt, compliments of Greg and Pat Stewart, local owners of FASTFRAME.
