Jamba Juice said it is just trying to make people feel good. And who doesn’t feel good after receiving free food?

Beginning at noon on Dec. 15, the first 250 customers that come to participating locations, including the Ahwatukee Foothills store at 4302 E. Ray Road, will receive a free California Flatbread. Flavors include tomo artichoko, smokehouse chicken, MediterraneYUM and four cheesy.

“Our focus is on the customer, trying to make them feel good and maintain a healthy lifestyle,” said Lauren Glassberg, spokesperson for Jamba Juice.

Also offering a healthier alternative to breakfast, Jamba Juice offers cups of oatmeal, which boast seven grams of fiber. Topping choices include banana, blueberry/blackberry, apple cinnamon or berry cherry pecan.

Another way Jamba Juice is trying to make its customers feel good with their “Feel Good Bucks” promotion. By sigining up at www.jambajuice.com, customers can print out a code, which can be worth any amount from $1 to $10,000, to redeem at participating locations. Any win from $1 to $25 goes toward a purchase at the store, and anything more than $25 is awarded in cash.

Glassberg said while the restaurant’s most popular items are still their classic smoothies, the company is hoping the list of favorites will expand to include items in its food line.

In June, Jamba Juice rolled out a line of “Grab and Go” salads and wraps, such as ginger soy salad joy, couscous and produce salad, Caesar the day! salad, gobble’licous turkey sandwich, Greek goodness wrap, chimichurri chicken wrap and the Asian style chicken wrap.

“We make sure to offer better-for-you foods that people can grab quickly and enjoy just as much as something that’s not as good for you,” Glassberg said.
