Ahwatukee Foothills Boy Scout Troop 278 recently celebrated Riley Fitzgerald’s achievement of the rank of Eagle Scout.

Fitzgerald is a sophomore a Horizon Honors High School, and his Eagle project involved building recycling containers for the school’s Save the Earth Club.

Fitzgerald’s father and grandfather are also Eagle Scouts - Maurice Jr. earned the rank in 1978 and Maurice Sr. in 1953. All are residents of Ahwatukee Foothills.
