Parents and community members have an opportunity to get the Bondurant experience for a reduced rate. As an added bonus, proceeds from the upcoming fundraiser will go to the Kyrene de los Cerritos Parent-Teacher Organization.

The team from Bob Bondurant Racing School of High Performance Driving saw an opportunity for a partnership between them and Kyrene de los Cerritos. They will be offering a racing package for adults for $120, $20 of which goes back to the school. The five-hour package includes a kart circuit racing, an autocross experience and time in an accident avoidance simulator.

The winner of the kart circuit race will receive a two-day driving course from Bondurant, valued at $2,450.

An optional drawing ticket can be purchased for $20 and the winner will also receive the two-day course.

"The goal is to build money for the PTO," said Cerritos parent Nicole Bondurant. "We noticed the Leadership Academy at the school and we fell in love with it."

The "Fun Day" Fundraiser takes place on Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bondurant, 20000 S. Maricopa Road in Chandler. Those interested are asked to RSVP by Oct. 14 by calling (800) 842-7223. A maximum of 200 will be allowed to attend the event.

Su Rogers and Rich Pysher, two Cerritos teachers, were also sponsored by Bondurant and will get their fees waved to attend the fundraiser and drive.

The Bob Bondurant Racing School of High Performance Driving offers courses for just about any level of driver. To find out more, visit www.Bondurant.com.
