Sali is a super sweet, easygoing, 1-year-old Terrier/Dachshund mix with a smile that goes from ear to ear. A word of warning, her smile is contagious – you’ll soon find yourself smiling once in Sali’s presence! Sali’s favorite way to greet you is to employ the stop, flop, and roll maneuver with the full expectation that she will receive belly rubs. Sometimes, she’ll get in a few doggie kisses before she employs the maneuver. Sali loves laps and will sit in yours for hours. Sali also enjoys being held. Some of Sali’s other favorite activities include eating, car rides, and walks. Good thing she likes walks so much considering how fond she is of her food! Sali does well on a leash and is just now discovering the joy of toys!

This friendly gal likes everyone she meets – people and dogs alike. She enjoys the company of other dogs her size and seems to find comfort and confidence when she is with them so another young, active dog her size is necessary in her new home. Her new family needs to be one that is patient and willing to take the time to work with her. Our Sali is looking for an active family ready to show her what it is like to be a loved member of the family.
