Rosie was not in the best condition when she was rescued. She was pretty matted and someone had recently dyed her fur pink — hence her name. We weren’t completely sure of what breed she was until we shaved her down and revealed a Lhasa gal underneath her mats. Now her fur is growing back a natural cream color. She feels so much better and looks better, too. Sweetheart is a common word heard in Rosie’s presence. She is such a sweet, gentle, unobtrusive little gal. She loves people and is happy to sit in your lap if you let her. Walking is another favorite activity for this precious girl. While Rosie is a “girly girl” she’s not opposed to running around the yard with fellow canine friends. Rosie would do well in a quiet household where she can have daily walks and plenty of lap time. She’ll need to be brushed regularly so she doesn’t get matted.
