Perkins is a 9-year-old Beagle, who is a little taller than most Beagles. He is very active and enjoys playing ball and tug of war. He loves car rides and long walks. He is doggie door trained, but will also tell you when he needs to go outside. He does need to be fed in a crate or separately from other dogs because he is very serious about meal times. Perkins gets along well with other dogs and loves lots of affection.
Due to a generous supporter, all of the adoption fees for Perkins and his senior Beagle friends will be waived until the end of the year. A $20 microchipping fee is still required.
Beagles of all ages deserve a second chance. Older dogs are patient, loving and true companions. By adopting a senior Beagle, you are helping to make two dreams come true — yours and his or hers.
