Faith, a 10-year-old Shih Tzu, was rescued painfully thin, horribly matted, had toenails so long they were growing into her pads, had very bad teeth, and to top it off was blind. She was named Faith for a reason — Faith has a remarkable spirit and has not given up on life or people, despite her condition. Since then, Faith has made great strides in foster care, slowly discovering all of the good things life has to offer. Faith enjoys the yard and sun. She has started to check out dog beds and carry chew bones around. And Faith loves snuggle time on the couch, in your lap, in your arms, or sitting next to you on a blanket while watching TV. You know she is happy because she grunts in contentment. Faith is a gentle, kind, happy, little girl who is feeling better as each day goes by.

Faith’s ideal home would be one where her people can be around most of the time. People who will consider it an honor and privilege to give this special needs girl the time and love she deserves to help her enjoy life to the fullest and live up to her fullest doggie potential. Speaking of doggie, she’d like another canine to share her days with as well. Faith has been through so much and has so much love to give. She is waiting patiently for her forever family; please don’t make her wait any longer. If you are interested in learning more about Faith, fill out an application for her today at
