Ahwatukee Foothills resident Laureen (Anne) Margherita died peacefully at home surrounded by her living family and friends on July 28. She passed away at the age of 53 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Margherita is daughter to Antoinette and sister to Danny, Linda and Candy. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jason; daughter, Antonia; grandchildren, Destiny and Noah; son, Thomas; and her dogs, Guido, Carmine and Gina.
A celebration of her life will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at Fire and Water International Church, 1937 E. Diamond St.
