Dion Arseneau passes away

Dion Arseneau, 57, a longtime Ahwatukee resident and business owner, passed away on May 14 after a strong and courageous three-year challenge with pancreatic cancer.

He was surrounded by his loving family as he passed from this life to a joyful reunion with his mother and father, Helen Crawford and Rupert Arseneau.

Dion was born on Oct. 24, 1956 in Casa Grande, Ariz. He has owned and operated Extraction Cleaning Company in the Ahwatukee area since 1989.

This family-owned business will continue to operate under the same quality and care that Dion always provided.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years, Kathy Arseneau; his children, Heather Arseneau, Matt Arseneau, Allison Dunkin-Crabbe, (Sam Chocianowski); brothers, Dennis Arseneau (Norma) and David Arseneau; brother in-law, Toby Crabbe (Ericka); sisters in-law Adella Crabbe, Marilyn Dodge (Tim) Alice Perez (Max); mother in-law, Maxylene Crabbe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be on Friday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at Mountain Park Community Church, 2408 E. Pecos Road. Interment to follow at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, 15506 Skyway Ave. in Casa Grande.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
