Lisa Marie Gusick, 55, of Ahwatukee Foothills passed away on Oct. 8, 2010. She was a real estate agent and licensed in the Realty Executives Ahwatukee office. Real estate ran in her family for decades and she learned the business from her late mother, Gene Gusick, an associate broker, and enjoyed being her mom's partner since 1986. When her mom retired in 2002, Lisa took the reins of the business. She was a respected, professional, ethical agent who served her clients well. Lisa is predeceased by her father, Joe, her mother, Gene, and brothers Joseph "Skip" Gusick and Johnny Gusick. She is survived by five nieces and nephews, her devoted husband of 26 years, John Withrow, and her beloved dogs, Sophie and Fred. A memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E. Knox Road. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery-Phoenix in a private family service. Lisa loved her dogs so her husband prefers that tax deductible donations, in lieu of flowers, be sent to Phoenix Animal Care Coalition PACC911, 10645 Tatum Blvd., Suite 200-516, Phoenix, 85028, or donate securely online at www.pacc911.org in memory of Lisa Gusick.
