Gallaher, Nguyen married at Phoenix Art Museum

Laura Gallaher and Johnny Nguyen exchanged wedding vows in a double ring ceremony at the Phoenix Art Museum on Oct. 8, 2011.

The bride, who wore a white satin dress sewn by her mother, is the daughter of Paul and Wendy Gallaher of Ahwatukee Foothills. She is a 2000 graduate of Desert Vista High School, a 2004 graduate of Arizona State University, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Florida with a doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology.

The bridegroom, son of Juliette and Tu Nguyen of Cocoa, Fla., earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2001 and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida in 2004.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was served by her sister, Dawn Gallaher Jurgensmeier, as matron of honor. Bridal attendants were Julie Steorts, Allison DeTitto, Stacy Nale, Lisa Stephany and Clay Yonce. Serving as flower girl was the bride's niece, Elizabeth Jurgensmeier.

The bridegroom's best man was Kevin Chibar. His attendants were Robert Coffman, Ani Akinbiyi, Patrick Maloney, Lance Rogers and Emily Weiland. Stephen Gunter, Christopher Reeves and Daniel Weiland participated as ushers. His nephews, Arthur and Alex Binh, were the ring bearers.

After a honeymoon on the islands of Hawaii and Maui, the couple returned to Florida where they are both employed in their respective fields by NASA at Kennedy Space Center. They live in Orlando.
