Erin Andrews-Sharer, a graduate of Desert Vista High School and a sophomore at The College of Wooster, received the Elias Compton Freshman Prize and the Lyman C. Knight, Sr., Prize in mathematics and physical education at Wooster’s 43rd Annual Recognition Banquet.

The Elias Compton Freshman Prize is awarded to the student who has achieved the highest standing in scholarship during the first year.

The Lyman C. Knight, Sr., Prize in mathematics and physical education is awarded to a sophomore who has demonstrated both outstanding promise in high school and first-year mathematics along with superior physical skills.
