Aidan Benek of Ahwatukee was presented his Light of Christ Award by the Rev. Albert Francis Hoorman on May 29 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Benek is a Wolf Scout and member of Pack 278 in Ahwatukee.
The Light of Christ Award helps a Cub Scout develop a personal relationship with Jesus. With parents' active assistance and participation in this program, it is hoped that the Cub Scout will come to see Jesus as a real person and his friend.
