SRP and the Arthritis Foundation were at the Ahwatukee Recreation Center recently to film a special program for SRP’s boosters, who sponsor the Life Improvement Series Exercise Programs for the Greater Southwest Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.  These programs include Aquatic, Self-Help, Land Exercise and T’ai Chi.

During filming, Ahwatukee Recreation Center members participated in the T’ai Chi for Arthritis Exercise Program led by instructor Donna Adler.

Thanks to the generous donations of the SRP Boosters, the Arthritis Foundation has been able to train 75 instructors and have programs at 54 locations throughout Arizona, ultimately, helping 12,000 people in Arizona reduce arthritis pain and have a more active life as well as improving the general health status of people with arthritis through their exercise programs.
