Rudolph Rudy Luz passes away

Rudolph Rudy Luz, 84, of Ahwatukee, passed peacefully on March 12.

Born June 11, 1929, in Peabody, Mass., to Joseph and Mary Luz, he married Dorothy M. Aylward in 1951 and will now share eternal life together. They lived in Peabody before relocating to Ahwatukee in 1991.

Rudy’s amazing spirit will live on in his family: Diane and Greg Angelakis, Joseph and Laura Luz, Catherine Luz, Dawn and Charles Cater, Gilbert and Eileen Luz, Joanne Connors, Steve Luz, Mark Luz; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Luz and Richard Luz; and one sister, Josephine Gamberony.

A Memorial Mass will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St. in Chandler, on April 11 at 4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Valley of the Sun Funeral Home. To leave condolences visit, www.valleyofthesunfuneralhome.com.
