Peggy Ann Esterson, 79, of Ahwatukee passed away peacefully at her home on July 16. She was born Peggy Ann Hamilton on Jan. 17, 1933 in Flint, Mich. Peggy moved to Phoenix in 1982 where she worked as an administrative assistant in the telecommunications industry, as well as at the Ahwatukee Recreation Center.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Nels; her sister, Joyce; and both of her parents. She is survived by her daughter Carol Stant (Jerry), her three sons Rickard Walk (Betty), Daniel Walk, and Robert Walk (Janet), and by her precious granddaughter Lindsay. Peggy also leaves behind a sister, three brothers, several step children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will take place at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave. in Phoenix, beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28.
