Seton Catholic welcomes Ireland students

Students from the Sacred Heart School in Tullamore, Ireland, visited the Seton Catholic Preparatory campus and showcased traditional Irish sports and music. Seton Catholic Prep’s relationship with the Sacred Heart is through the Chandler-Tullamore Sister Cities program.

On March 19, an interactive demonstration of hurling, a traditional sport played by young Irish adults, was played on the Seton football field.

As part of Seton’s involvement with the Chandler-Tullamore, Ireland Sister Cities Program, it participates in exchange programs annually with Sacred Heart students from Ireland to advance the Sister Cities mission to cultivate and maintain a strong reciprocal relationship to encourage cultural understanding, community involvement, economic development and educational exchanges.
