Donations needed for Eagle Scout project

Ahwatukee resident Conner Smith is working on furnishing an apartment for a homeless veteran and is in need of the following items:

• Pillow

• Toilet paper

• Drinking glasses

• Hygiene items

• Silverware

• Paper towels

• Can opener

• Cleaning supplies

• Pots and pans

• Shower curtain

• TV converter box

• Shower curtain rings

• Mattress

• Bath towels

• Cash donations

• Dresser

If you have any of these items that you would like to donate, please drop them off at Esperanza Lutheran Church, 2601 E. Thunderhill Place between 8 a.m. and noon Sunday, March 2.

If you are unable to be there during these times and would like to donate, please email or call (480) 650-4404 to arrange for pick up.
