The Ahwatukee Foothills concert band returns to the Ahwatukee Retirement Center, 5001 E. Cheyenne Drive, on Thursday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m. for a summer celebration of music. They will be getting spirits ready for Independence Day weekend with patriotic favorites, sing-a longs, and lots of toe-tapping surprises. The band will feature music from some great American composers as well as music from stage and screen. The Crawford McClue Memorial music scholarship winners will also join the band for a tune.
