Nancy Zguda, 92, of Phoenix passed away on May 29. She was born on Feb. 19, 1921 in the Bronx, N.Y., to Amelia and Joseph Conforti.

Nancy is pre-deceased by her brother, Albert; sister, Margaret; and her beloved Henry, to whom she was married to for 43 fun and loving years. Together they were involved in many activities with the Ahwatukee Recreation Center.

Nancy loved a good game of tennis, a shared joke with friends and always a glass of wine. She was a fun, vivacious woman of strong faith, and an accomplished artist who sold many of her paintings. She is survived by many friends, and extended family of four nieces and their families.

A memorial mass will take place at 9:30 a.m. on June 25 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E. Knox Road, with a reception immediately following at the Ahwatukee Recreation Center, 5001 E. Cheyenne Drive.

Donations in Nancy’s honor may be made to Reflections Hospice, 1840 E. University Road, Mesa, AZ 85203.
