In January, an official for the Arizona Diamondbacks heard the Valley Christian High School Chorale group singing the National Anthem on KOOL FM as part of the Fulton Homes Noon Salute program. Valley Christian’s talented singers won the hearts and ears of the Diamondbacks so much that the group was invited to sing the patriotic song before a game.

Each week during the school year, Fulton Homes and KOOL FM recognizes outstanding performances by area middle school and high school bands by airing a performance of “The Star Spangled Banner.” At the end of each month, one of the bands is selected to receive a $1,000 donation from Fulton Homes.

To enter your high school’s version of the “The Star Spangled Banner” for a chance to be featured, mail a CD to: KOOL FM, 840 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, 85004.
