Phoenix Conservatory of Music received a three-year $120,000 grant to support its City Music Program from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. The Phoenix Conservatory of Music’s City Music Program is a free college preparatory program for grades 4-12.

It is ongoing and is entering its third year in affiliation with the Berklee College of Music’s City Music Program. It helps students compete for summer program scholarship and college scholarship and utilize the Berklee PULSE online music learning program (Pre-University Learning Systems Experience).

The organization will use funds from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust over three years to grow the City Music Program into a long-term, sustainable college preparatory program with an emphasis in contemporary music performance.
