Darren Law will race the new Chevrolet Corvette Daytona
Prototype in the 2012 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series. Law, a
Valley resident and chief operating officer of the Bob Bondurant
School of High Performance Driving, will return to Action Express
Racing, driving the No. 5 Corvette DP. Law was in Daytona Beach,
Fla., for the Nov. 15 introduction of the car, the first built to
third-generation Daytona Prototype specifications.
Law and his Action Express Racing teammates will start testing the
new car at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla.,
in December. They will undertake an intense test program prior to
the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona in January.
