Ahwatukee resident and Corpus Christi Catholic Church member Grant Goodman, son of Cindy and Tom, has been commissioned as a Cap Corps volunteer. Grant, a Creighton University graduate with a degree in political science and justice and peace studies, will be providing service to Escuela Verde in Milwaukee, Wis. Escuela Verde is a project-based, multi-aged school, grades 7-12, with a focus on environmental justice and sustainability. Cap Corps is a Franciscan Capuchin volunteer ministry, geared to college-aged students and graduates who wish to emulate the example of St. Francis of Assisi and serve the poor and disenfranchised.
