Calling all boys in first through fifth grades and their families who enjoy having fun, camping, hiking, making new friends, attending sporting events and cookouts to join Cub Scout Pack 978 in Ahwatukee Foothills. The pack's first meeting of the 2011-2012 school year will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11 at Pecos Park, 17010 S. 48th St.
