Organizers of the inaugural Science Teacher Night at the Arizona Science Center on Jan. 28 said it was a success due to the sponsorships of various educational support organizations and 200 pre-registered Arizona science teachers.

Organizers initially estimated a crowd of 100-150 science teachers and registration had to be capped when numbers reached 200.

Participating science teachers lucky enough to be registered in advance were given the opportunity to expand their support networks by connecting with other science teachers from across the state, visit with representatives from educational support organizations, and take advantage of free educational resources provided by vendors and the Arizona Science Center.
