The Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the Women in Business Palo Verde Award, which embraces women in the community and honors their contribution to area businesses.
It recognizes a female chamber member's personal achievements in business. The recipient will be a woman who believes in and demonstrates her purpose. Her commitment to business excellence, management and community involvement are among the characteristics sought.
Along with the Palo Verde Award, the Women in Business Committee is awarding two scholarships to a woman continuing her education or attending a college or university.
All forms must be submitted to the chamber by Sept. 30.
The award and scholarships will be presented Nov. 5 at the Women in Business Gala.
