Three Horizon Honors High School students have graduated from the prestigious Valley Teen Leadership program: sophomore Manu Kondapi, 16, from Chandler; sophomore Malhar Markandeya, 15, also from Chandler; and junior Soha Ghanian, 16, from Ahwatukee.

Valley Teen Leadership was created to cultivate a next generation of leaders by offering teens the opportunity to develop leadership skills. This program engages 50 Valley teens in an annual multi-month program that provides education about community issues, develops leadership skills through motivational and inspirational activities, and offers opportunities to develop lasting, positive relationships. The program is open to all high school sophomores and juniors throughout the Valley. For more information, visit www.valleyleadership.org.
