Ahwatukee resident receives international award

The International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (I.A.F.C.I) has awarded Ahwatukee local, Brenda Folks, as the recipient of the Rick Brady Investigator of the Year Award sponsored by Discover Card.
I.A.F.C.I. has more than 4,000 members and each year, nominations are submitted from all around the world and include every line of law enforcement personnel, as well as the private industry.
Folks, assistant vice president/Investigator works for Bank of America with core responsibilities of working skimming and mass compromise cases involving debit and credit card products. She assists in high-profile cases, many on behalf of the U.S. Marshals on a global scale to locate and capture kidnappers, embezzlers, homicide fugitives, child predators, human-traffickers, escapees and missing persons.
