New appointment at Dignity Health Foundation East Valley

Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert medical centers, Dignity Health members, announced that Aaron Peace has been appointed vice president of philanthropy and president of Dignity Health Foundation – East Valley.

Peace joined the organization on Jan. 1, and is responsible for the development and fundraising efforts that benefit Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert, as well as numerous community programs. He will directly oversee Dignity Health Foundation East Valley (the Foundation).

Peace comes to the Foundation from Dignity Health’s St. John’s Healthcare Foundation in Oxnard, Calif., where he served as vice president of development. During his time at St. John’s, Peace increased the number of donors by more than 25 percent and brought in the largest cash gift in the hospitals’ 100-year history. Prior to that, he was assistant vice president at Community Counseling Service Fundraising in San Francisco, Calif. In this role, he directed numerous clients on capital campaign best practices and was instrumental in major gift and multi-million dollar solicitations.
