Approximately 22 hairdressers from Phoenix area salons volunteered their time and their clippers on Christmas morning, providing free haircuts to more than 400 men, women and children. In addition to haircuts, the Salvation Army Christmas Dinner event at the Phoenix Convention Center included children's games, free long-distance calls, photos with Santa, family portraits, snacks, toys for children, live music, and more.

Eight volunteers from Arizona Hair Company were on hand to lend their help. The stylists; Becks Zambito, Brody Strong, Susan Tapp, Tara Jones, Jen Krug, Laura Jessel, Paula Denis and Derrick Denis; worked tirelessly to make sure everyone in line was gracefully served.

To volunteer or donate, contact the city of Phoenix Salvation Army at (602) 267-4100. To reach Arizona Hair Company, visit www.arizonahairco.com.
