The 98th annual Board of Visitors Charity ball took place on April 6 at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn in Paradise Valley.

The highlight of the evening was the celebration of the 2013 Flower Girls, who are seniors at area high schools including two girls from Ahwatukee.

Their fathers presented the Flower Girls, wearing long white gowns, with a traditional curtsey to a crowd of 900 attendees. Courtney Cox was presented by her father Brad, and Meghan Crown was presented by her father Tim.

The Board of Visitors, founded in 1908, is the oldest charitable organization in Arizona. Since 1995, The BOV has raised over $10 million to serve the health care needs of women, children and the elderly.

Each year The BOV donates the money it raises to local charities in the greater metropolitan Phoenix area.
