Ahwatukee Lions Club appoints new officers

The Ahwatukee Lions Club hosted its annual installation and awards dinner on June 18. Outgoing District Gov. Art Downs installed the new slate of officers for the 2011-2012 fiscal year, which begins on July 1. Serving as president is Norman Jones, first vice president is Pam Hahn and second vice president is Jim Mooney. The new secretary is Carol Hartwig and the new treasurer is Gretchen Fuller. Serving as directors are Kay Jones, Barbara Lyijynen and Charlie Miles.

The Ahwatukee Lions Club meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month at noon at the Grace Inn, 10831 S. 51st St. Guests are welcome to attend. Call Tony McLain at (602) 616-8475 for more information.
