Ahwatukee Foothills "Nutcracker" auditions will take place on Saturday, Aug. 27 at Dance Studio 111, 4910 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 11. No experience is necessary. Actors and dancers are needed for ballet, pointe, jazz, acro, tap and character. Bring all dance shoes to audition.
Audition times: 9 to 10:30 a.m., dancers ages 10 and over with pointe shoes and ballet shoes; 10:30 a.m. to noon dancers ages 9 and over with ballet shoes and tap shoes; noon to 1 p.m. dancers ages 3 to 8 years old with ballet shoes.
Performance dates for the Ahwatukee Foothills "Nutcracker Ballet" are Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Desert Vista Fine Arts Theatre.
