Gila River Gaming Enterprises, operators of Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino, Lone Butte Casino and Vee Quiva Casino, appointed Dennis Amos director of financial analysis. Amos will analyze financial reports and data for all three properties to evaluate financial management systems and implement process improvements.

Amos has 10 years experience in financial analysis and eight years in the gaming industry. He comes to Gila River Gaming Enterprises from the New Jersey market where he managed financial analysis for Trump Entertainment Resorts. His experience also includes work at the Sands Hotel and Casino. Throughout his career, Amos has demonstrated a track record of analyzing data and improving bottom line statistics with positive changes to financial management processes.

Gila River Casinos has opened two new casinos since 2008. Lone Butte was opened in November of that year and Wild Horse Pass was opened in October of 2009. The Valley casino operators also have plans to open a new Vee Quiva Casino and Hotel in the summer of 2013. Construction for that project is under way.
