The Ahwatukee Foothills soccer club 97 Boys White team, coached by Maxi Viera, dominated the competition and won the U17 premier bracket in the ninth annual Ahwatukee Foothills SoccerFest over the weekend.

The Ahwatukee Foothills Soccer Club hosted the “Soccer Fest” tournament Oct. 19-21. More than 230 teams, including 400 kids from Ahwatukee Foothills, participated in matches at Pecos Park, Vista Canyon Park, and Tempe Sports Complex. The tournament is for U7 up to U18 teams.
