More than 20 hand-crafted ceramic and bronze animal sculptures that spotlight the rich wildlife of the Phoenix Zoo are on display at Phoenix Sky Harbor, Terminal 4, Level 2.

The exhibition, “Art Gone Wild,” represents the talents of Valley artist Heidi Uotila and is presented by the Phoenix Airport Museum. The highly-detailed collection includes zebras, gazelles, tigers, lions and giraffes, to name a few, that will be on display through March 10. Each art piece is accompanied by text that includes educational facts about the animals on display, plus other facts about the animals and their relatives at the Phoenix Zoo.

An artist for more than 30 years, Uotila’s work has been displayed and recognized nationally and internationally. President George H.W. Bush owns some of Uotila’s work.

In addition to Uotila’s exhibition, drawings by more than 60 children from throughout the Valley are on display in three locations in Terminal 4, Level 3. The works depict wildlife found at the Phoenix Zoo and celebrate its 50th anniversary, as well.
