Bill and Julie O'Brien have announced the marriage of their daughter Kristin Elaine to Matthew Paul Wellsand, son of Ed and Lynn Wellsand, on Aug. 7, 2010. The couple was married in Valparaiso, Ind., at the Chapel of the Resurrection, Valparaiso University.
The bride was attended by Olivia Crook, Kelly O'Brien, Megan O'Brien and Jennie Wellsand. The bridegroom's attendants were Andy Blastick, Jeff Schultz, Chris McSparin and Ryan McSparin.
Matt is a graduate of Valparaiso University, and is an eighth-grade science teacher at Fegley Middle School in Portage, Ind. Kristin is a 2002 graduate of Desert Vista High School and a graduate of Purdue University. She is employed by Arcelor Mittal Steel Company as a process control engineer in Burns Harbor, Ind.
The couple resides in Kouts, Ind.
