The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a professional association of more than 37,000 general dentists dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to the public, announced that Bradley J. Sandvik, DMD, MAGD, of Phoenix, received the association’s 2012 Mastership Award during the AGD 2012 Annual Meeting and Exhibits June 21-24 in Philadelphia.

The Mastership Award is the highest honor available at the AGD and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To accomplish this goal, Sandvik completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education.

As a recipient of the mastership award, Sandvik joins more than 2,300 active AGD Masters.

Sandvik graduated with high honors from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 2001. He owns and practices at Desert Shores Dentistry in Ahwatukee Foothills.

Sandvik and his wife, Kristy, have two children, Austin and Aidan, and they reside in Ahwatukee.
