Girl Scout Troop 1233 recently sent nearly 300 pounds of donated items and Girl Scout cookies to Give2TheTroops, Inc., an organization dedicated to sending physical and moral support to troops serving overseas.

The group of nine fifth-graders organized a supply drive, packaged the items and shipped them directly to Give2TheTroops.

With the help of the Ahwatukee community they were able to send 20 boxes of necessary items and Girl Scout cookies.
