Horizon Honors High School junior and Ahwatukee resident, Anya Asato, 17, recently graduated from Valley Teen Leadership.

Valley Teen Leadership was created to cultivate the next generation of leaders by offering teens the opportunity to develop leadership skills. This program engages 50 Valley teens in an annual multi-month program that provides education about community issues, develops leadership skills through motivational and inspirational activities, and offers opportunities to develop lasting, positive relationships. The program is open at all high school sophomores and juniors throughout the Valley. For more information, visit www.valleyleadership.org.
