Gov. Jan Brewer has appointed two new members to the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR). Ronald Shoopman has been appointed to replace outgoing Regent Dennis DeConcini, whose term expired in January. Shoopman will serve an eight-year term, pending confirmation by the Arizona State Senate.

Brewer also appointed William Ridenour to serve an eight-year term, pending State Senate confirmation. Ridenour succeeds Regent Anne Mariucci.
